Calgary-based startup in global race to produce more lithium to meet EV demand

With the federal government planning to spend up to $3.8‑billion on a “critical minerals strategy,” Calgary-based Summit Nanotech is using proprietary technology to sustainably extract lithium from the ground. Amanda Hall, CEO and founder of Summit Nanotech, joins BNN Bloomberg on how the company is looking to scale and take advantage of the growing global demand for electric vehicle components.
